Today, I want to talk about journaling. Photos app mac os x yosemite reader. And I can’t really talk about journaling without mentioning how much I stink at it. How to transfer apps from mac to macbook pro 2020. Seriously. I have had friends my entire life who have went on and on and on about how much journaling has changed their life. I’ve just never found a great rhythm for me. It’s never really been my thing.

However, this year some of my spiritual rhythms have changed. Around the beginning of this year, I finally admitted to myself that I was allowing my daily quiet time with God to become pretty stale. And what’s more, it was getting bumped out at an alarming rate because I simply was tired when I got home from work, wanted to hang out with friends instead, because HouseHunters was on… you get the picture. So to use the words of my friend Greg Lee, I did a “hard reset” and decided that I was going to do my quiet time every morning, and I was going to wake up an hour earlier to do so. Part of what I love and hate about “The Daily” is that they generally include a response section where they prompt you to journal your thoughts. DayOne is basically a special journaling program that is… well, exactly that. A journal. You can make entries and write about whatever you want. You can include pictures. Prompts. All that stuff. Use it as you see fit. You can even tag stuff in there for reference later. I use DayOne every morning when I do “The Daily,” and I tag each entry with “The Daily” so I can go back and reference it later. It’s got a nice interface and has been pretty handy.
It’s a very handy app and I highly recommend you checking it out! Simply head to this site to learn more. There are versions available for both iOS devices and Mac.
